- MCNA will contract with state Medicaid agencies or managed care organizations in the following ways:
- Dental HMO contracts where MCNA assumes full risk for dental services based on a negotiated, capitated rate
- Administrative Services Organization (ASO) contracts where MCNA provides a selected range of administrative services, including claims processing
- Third Party Administrator (TPA) services contracts where MCNA provides claims processing services and a limited number of related services may also be selected
- Consulting Services contracts for state agencies or health plans wishing to retain the services of MCNA to develop a dental program management strategy, or to enhance the quality or operational results of their current dental program
