Our Compliance Department is committed to the highest standards of ethics and integrity throughout our organization. The department strives to always ensure that we are fully compliant with all regulations, policies, and guidelines through education and monitoring.
Our compliance program promotes honest, ethical behavior during the daily operations of MCNA. The program is our solemn commitment to our members, providers and partners, and to the government agencies that regulate us, that we will provide quality services in an ethical and compliant manner.
MCNA understands and accepts its responsibility for establishing, training and monitoring company-wide adherence to all HIPAA guidelines to ensure and protect the confidentiality of Protected Health Information. To ensure compliance, MCNA's Privacy Officer conducts training and ongoing monitoring for potential violations.
It is the responsibility of all MCNA employees, committee and board members, and providers to adhere to established HIPAA guidelines, preserve the confidentiality of Protected Health Information, and report suspected violations.
