MCNA Dental announced today that it has entered into a contract with the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services' Division of Medicaid and Long-Term Care (MLTC) as the sole dental benefits manager for its Nebraska Medicaid dental program. MCNA Dental currently administers dental benefits for millions of members in Texas, Florida, Iowa, Idaho, and Louisiana using its proven managed dental care model. The company will begin serving approximately 250,000 children and adults enrolled in the program statewide on October 1, 2017.

"We are excited to partner with the MLTC to serve Medicaid beneficiaries across the State of Nebraska. Our extensive managed care experience combined with our deep understanding of the needs of both our members and our network of dental providers will help us ensure that Nebraska's Medicaid enrollees receive high quality dental care for a lifetime of good oral health. Our organization is committed to increasing preventive dental care and services through our innovative programs and technology solutions. We are honored to have this opportunity to serve the people of Nebraska as a responsible, quality partner to the State," said Dr. Phil Hunke, Plan President of MCNA Insurance Company.

"MCNA Dental is pleased to welcome our Nebraska leadership team as we continue to build enduring working relationships with the Nebraska professional dental community. The entire MCNA family is committed to making access to high quality oral health care possible for citizens enrolled in the Nebraska Medicaid dental program," said Glen Feingold, Executive Vice President and COO of MCNA Dental. "We are fully committed to increasing access to key preventive services and to working with Nebraska dentists to ensure positive oral health outcomes for our members."

MCNA Dental will provide access to high quality oral health care for children and adults through an extensive network of dentists and dental specialists. In addition to the dental benefits offered under Nebraska Medicaid, MCNA Dental will work to improve oral health outcomes for enrollees by offering education and resources through our fully coordinated Outreach Program and access to our dedicated Case Management Program.
