MCNA Dental, a leading national dental benefits company for Medicaid and CHIP programs, donated dental kits, backpacks, and essential health supplies to hundreds of Hurricane Harvey victims during a community health fair Saturday at the Alief YMCA in Houston. Many MCNA Dental employees also volunteered their time at the event to operate donation stations for those in need. They distributed dental health materials as well as clothing, toys, and shoes collected by UPS.

"Our employees have demonstrated the core values of outreach and service that make up the heart of MCNA Dental's dedication to our communities. We are proud to be able to serve families and children that were displaced by the hurricane," Dr. Jeffrey Feingold, Chairman and CEO of MCNA Dental. "We thank those who organized this important event and the rest of our community partners who joined MCNA Dental to help."

Health fair participants included the Alief Independent School District, University of Texas Schools of Public Health, Dentistry and Nursing, the American Red Cross, Texas Star Alliance, UPS and FEMA. Over 200 free dental screenings and flu shots were provided by the UTHealth School of Dentistry and UT physicians.
